well our April subbie kits are safely (!) away in the hands of the Royal Mail..... keep your eyes peeled for the postie in the morning - make sure you check out the little subbie extra in there too....

Well since I am about to go off down to the south of Ireland this weekend to visit my sister-in-law and all the rellies, I thought I should probably let you see the whole of Aprils kit in its glory.... subbies will be getting theirs hopefully on Tuesday and anyone else who wants one can let us know and we can get them out later in the week... kits to non-subbies are £7.99 plus £1.95 p&p

Holidaying in New England

I decided that it was finally time to use up some paper that I have had in my personal stash for a couple of years. Can't believe it took me so long - i love these papers! They are from Li'l Davis Designs. I think Lou and I will have to source their papers for our stock.

The pictures were taken during a holiday that my hubby and I took in September 2007. It was such an amazing trip. We went to Boston and Vermont. The best part was definately the whale watching in Cape Anne. Roll on more holidays!

keeping cool by the pool

Yay... I got a layout done today - the first from our holiday in Orlando - this is Sarah keeping cool by the pool - with her beloved Dora sunglasses. Got my stash in Florida - from Jo-Anns - and made the little tag using our Big Shot.

Brown is for when you want to feel that everything in your life is going well and turquoise is for when you want to tap into your creativity through dance, music, art, etc - good for scrapping then!!

For all you sarah-sympathisers... she has already had a bag of mini eggs and a cookie today before lunch and theres a smarties easter egg in the car - thats before nanny arrives with her chocolate duck from M&S...... all this for a toddler who doesn't really get chocolate!!! Heading for a hyperactive sunday afternoon....

i got the recipe for this in Prima magazine - its white chocolate fudge cake! Mmmmmmmm - had to hide it from Sarah... especially since I used her Milkybar easter egg for the white chocolate... ssh!

Natalie has got her hands on our April kit and come up wiht some lovely alternatives to using it for a layout - we are nothing if not versatile!

sarahs first train ride

we are just back from a little outing into Belfast - Sarah my two year old, adores Thomas the Tank Engine, so I dragged the whole family (DH is loaded with the cold and a bit grumbly) into town on the train - the staff at our station were so nice, they gave her a little paper train and a bunny rabbit bookmark! She loved it of course... Daithi slept through the whole thing.... now I have a lo to make with my Thomas embellies!!

New design team

We have launched our new design team on UKSCrappers - all very exciting! Mandi will be posting sneak peeks of her layout on her blog tomorrow. We are offering subscriptions on the kit at £8.99 a month.

Lots going on at the moment - Tara is in hospital with her blood pressure - she gets to 30 weeks this saturday and is hoping to get back out of the ward - we are not ready to meet baby Torrens yet!!! In the meantime, we are all set for doing our sponsor class on UKScrappers for Monday - a gorgeous layout with Daithi in the starring role.

Lots of exciting happenings in Cleo Crafts - we have recruited two very talented designers for our new design team and have sent them our April kit - can't wait to see what they come up with!

Got some scrapping of my own done on Tuesday night - love this photo from our trip to SeaWorld - as you can see, Sarah and Daithi were completely hypnotised by the whales!!

we are about five episodes into the last series of the sopranos... once its finished i can get back to my scrapping!!! tonnes to do now we have our disney photos as well!

March Kit Layout idea

I have been off on my jollies for two weeks in Orlando and have come back to a fab new kit for March as designed by Tara - based around Basic Grey's Recess papers, this kit is ideal for a starting school page!!
