woodware owl stamps card

I think joy surpassed herself this week with our cute spring theme card. The owl is stamped, cut and coloured then layered up with foam tape. I love Woodware stamp designs and we are about to get their new designs in... Can't wait!

While over at Stitches we did a little class with Mel from paperdreams.blogspot.com using Kaisercraft Beyond the Page frames and papers and embellishments from their Madame Boutique collection. If we have Ny takers, i will run this class in the shop in the next month or so :)

Spot the Tim Holtz groupies...

Well we had a great time in Birmingham at the NEC and even managed to get our photo on Tim Holtz' s blog!   yes thats me - in the pink bag watching Sir Tim demo his new distress markers.... can you spot Maria and Karen as well???  We were all over at Stitches on Sunday to  see all the new products and sample ideas!

looking for some Valentines inspiration

Just been out for a lovely morning with the kids, we took the train to Belfast to meet DH for lunch and then back again - great excitement being on a train when you are six and four!!! Now brief hometime before heading round to Tara's to decorate buns and make pizzas.... so I went on Pinterest and saw some gorgeous words.. here's my pic of the day!

Blueberry muffins....

We thought it would be nice to make blueberry muffins for Valentines Day - shame we ran out of bicarb of soda so they didn't rise as much as they maybe should have.... anyway they came in handy as comfort food as sarah's baby tooth fell out during dinner and we think she swallowed it... cue lots of tears :( hopefully the tooth fairy will understand anyway!

Our New Logo - Learn It, Love It, Do It!

Well a few weeks ago i was watching a wee programme on TV and someone said this line .. and i though.. what a perfect logo for Cleo Crafts - Learn It, Love It, Do It! So my very talented little sister has made me some bunting for the shop and here it is....

Valentines Card Idea

Hows about this card for Valentines day - papers are from Papermania background Parkstone Pink 6x6 pack, and image from Daisy and Dandelion Lovingly Yours range... the butterfly is die cut with Marianne Creatables (handy hint - if you rub the die with soap first, it is easier to get all the little bits of paper out of the die!! Thanks Joy!) Swap the Happy Birthday die cut message for Valentines and hey presto!

busy busy Tuesday ahead of us

Lots of lovely cards ready to be made tomorrow - Joy has a double whammy of classes in the morning and again tomorrow night - can't wait to see the new creations.... I'll make sure I get some pics!!
