So far, got the gas turned on this week and a new phone number - plus a nice wrought iron table which Janice from Kars suggests I paint a nice duck egg blue - hmmm great idea! Big changes this weekend with my team of three putting up slat walls, building the counter and getting the craft tables built - things should look a lot different next Monday! All I have to do now is get prices on everything!!

Many of you probably know now that I am planning to open a bricks and mortarshop in Merville Garden Village in Newtownabbey - lots of questions about when and what we are doing etc... So far I have been organising the fixtures and fittings - slat walls are getting delivered today - and we were in Ikea at the weekend buying tables for the classroom - decided to get everything delivered as Shay wouldn't take too kindly to having big pieces of 8x4 feet sheets of wood dangling over his carseat! ORdered the phoneline today and also got the first order on its way from DoCrafts who are a new supplier for me. Trying to open a shop while having a seven week old baby in the house is no party! I have made a rule not to make any decisions on the business after 8pm as my brain is too tired.... we'll see how that affects the shop once its opened - if it all looks a bit upside down, you'll know why!
