... I made my partner in crime (Loopy Lou) a little mini book for Christmas - using our daily grind papers, book rings and an acetate and chipboard cascade book. The contents are quite personal but I think Lou wouldn't mind if I gave you a look at the cover. This was the first time that i have used a book with acetate in it, and i must say i really enjoyed it. Papers again from Daily Grind - do you think i felt inspired by these papers by any chance:)? I have never used one range of papers to do so many projects in my scrapbooking life!!!!!! If you don't have the papers already you really must get in quick and order one of our January kits!... ok, you don't HAVE TO do it... but i think you will really love it if you do! :)

NEXT!
I have decided to set myself a challenge for 2009....
I intend to create a special occasions calender / reminder for the year (as I am dreadful at remembering everyone's birthdays, anniversaries etc!). Each month I will create a page using the kit papers for that particular month.... a great way to use up my scraps left over form the kit!!!!!
Anyone subbies or prospective subbies care to join me in my challenge?
Check out January!

Sneaky Peek Number Two!
This is a second sneaky peek at some of the papers from January's Monthly Kit ... my brother isn't enamoured by scrapbooking in the slightest (understatement if the century), but he adores his niece and nephews so I am making him a Calender for part of his Christmas Present (a good way to remind him when all their birthdays are!). I used January Kit papers to make his first page.... a little bit of scrapping without overwhelming him with lots of embellishments and other girlie things!

A bit of christmas pressie crafting!
... as the recipient of this gift doesn't know we have a blog i think it is safe to upload some piccies of what i have made for her .... I have decorated a mini lunch box and filled it with little mini books for her to fill in and give to friends ... or the kids she works with. She is an amazing person who often gives thoughtful little notes to people so i thought this would be the perfect gift for her.
I created the mini books using journaling cards from our fancy pants 'sweet spring' and 'all fall' ranges. Check out our website to see the lovely fancy pants papers that we currently have in stock - I LOVE THEM!
