our first cake decorating class... success!
So I am so in the baking mood after yesterdays cake decorating class with Jennie from Vanilla Sky Cakes and have made the kids pancakes for breakfast... think we will be trying to replicate the cookies I made on Thursday night to great acclaim from not only my family (who are a little biased) but also the girls in work!
Yesterday we had five ladies in the Basic Cake Decorating class - and they made a wonderful variety of cakes -f rom a Thomas Tank Engine (without the train! we were looking for something else but no trains in Cleo Crafts :( ) to a Minnie Mouse theme, Elmo, one for a Mum's birthday and this cute spotty pink cake.
Jennie in action!

Our next Vanilla Sky class is the Beginners Cupcake Decorating class on the 1st September and as I type, we have one spot left! You can book through Cleo Crafts or by contacting Jennie directly on her own website (link at the top of this post).
Next week is a feast for cardmakers with classes from Joy on Thurs and Fri mornings, and advanced on Thurs night and Saturday morning! As always, booking advisable!
