Last night we didn't have anyone round to our little evening crop, so it was just Tara, me, our sister Amanda and our mum sitting round the table doing scrapping - reallynice evening - and for once I managed to get my own layout done!! With the help of one of tara's many books, I took this layout and did a page for an old photo I have had for over 13 years - knew I'd use it one day! This is me and my two uni pals in our single days, at the end of a long summer spent working and travelling in America - there were six of us living in a tiny two bed apartment working in Virginia Beach and at the end of the summer, three of us took off with a 3-flight package and headed to San Fran - what a fabulous place! This photo was taken at the shore in Sausalito - check me out in my student stripey trousers...... with my best friends from uni - Tara and Mickey (only Jayners is missing!). Using periphery papers and letter stickers.

... this is the layout that i created in tribute to my hubby and his obsession with Fishing. I thought that it was about time that I create a page solely about him. The papers and buttons are from the 'Periphery' range by Basic Grey. I really like them and think they make a perfect backdrop for a more masculine page. Hope you like it too.

just got a text from my brother Jamie - he is just back from climbing Sydney Harbour Bridge.... it was the going-away present Tara and I got for his birthday/christmas/travels - he said it was amazing - can't wait to see the photos... wish i was in Sydney too!

just back from cycling eight miles - it was tough going on the way cos the wind was blowing at me, but that meant that coming back was a lot nicer..... still had to be v.wary of all those cars on the road - some come sooo close its unreal!!!

well i cut sarahs hair today myself.... been meaning to take her to a hairdressers for ages now, but just got out the scissors and snip! It all came to a head (haha) cos her fringe was just getting in her eyes...... so no more!

babies and shops (not together!)

ooops the blog fell off the radar for a week there - two of my friends have had babies since i last blogged - both boys! Joseph and Darragh - awwwwwwwwwwww both gorgeous of course.....

Tara and I went off to visit the Scrap House in N'ards this morning and once we found it..wow! Great shop - very inspiring... have been scouring the property websites ever since......

It is my hubby's 30th Birthday today, so i thought he deserved a mention on our blog. I made him a card dedicated to his favourite pastime....

Well what do you think of this - i could take Sarah and Daithi with me on my training.... would need to bring a stack of books for Sarah and squeaky toys for Daithi.....
